Robots have already replaced lots of people’s jobs – particulalry in manufacturing. I think that we will be more dependant on robots in the future but hopefully we will all still find interesting and fun things to do as well.

Robots have already taken many people’s jobs and they will continue to be developed to take as many jobs as they can, mostly because robots are cheap; they don’t have ‘working hours’ or ‘robot working rights’, so they don’t need a salary, pension, holiday, sick leave, and never ask for a day off to bring their child to the doctors. This is currently a huge problem for humanity, as there are fewer and fewer jobs for a growing population of people! If you have a solution to this problem, we are listening!

We already use robots to do construction work where it is repetitive i.e. running a roller back and forth 10 times when building an embankment. This means there are less humans put in dangerous locations and less need for workmen to do basic tasks. Within in construction, there is a lack of staff so it is good to use them efficiently. You will always need some humans to control the robots. I think it will mean we can work more efficiently rather than fire people!

Yes, but it creates new jobs as people are needed to create, develop and maintain the robots!
