• Question: How does someone get into veterinary / zoology work?

      I assume you are not at the point of going to University, which is the best way to pursue your passion like zoology/veterinary medicine. Ahead of University, you can volunteer at a vet, farm or lab at a University! Most people would be happy to have you there to help and learn!

      Work experience is a great place to start as it’ll give you a really good insight into some different careers (I volunteered in a vets for a while when I was at school and realised that it wasn’t for me). Then keep going with your education, as most zoology based jobs need a degree and you’ll need to go to veterinary school to be a vet.
