• Question: is it possible to replant a lot of the trees

      It is certainly possible to plant lots of trees. The samplings are cheap to make, so that’s not the hurdle. I guess you need to consider whether you want a diversity of trees and you want the right species of tree in the right place. Climate change will make some species of trees intolerant of the climate of ‘tomorrow’. So, it’s not as straightforward as it sounds–just plant trees…but it’s certainly possible and VERY worth doing!
