It really wasn’t something I woke up one day and thought “damn, I’m missing programming!” If only life were like that… it actually started off with a university course! I had to do coursework (a bit like your homework!) I got lucky, I started to enjoy it. And over time, I started to realise how I’d missed out on something wonderful! It makes so many tasks SO much easier. You can make games with it, crunch numbers, change the name of many files… it’s really extremely useful. A top tip: start early! You must be using Scratch. Focus in those classes – it could well be the most important thing you do in school for now. Python is quite easy to pick up too. I’d highly recommend it!
yes we do use scratch and because i chose computer science as an option for GCSE i will be doing Python. my uncle ha shad a big degree in computing and is an engineer of computer. he knows the ins and outs of the computer. i like typing the most.

Fantastic to hear, Amina! Keep up with the typing, and keep going with Scratch. I’m sure you’re going to come a long way!
