Safe cycle paths, primarily. This is probably the biggest hindrance in getting people to cycle more, not just children!

We should build less roads and those we do build should be friendly for children so they make cars go at low speeds. We can’t build cycle paths everywhere, we don’t have the space. Instead we can change roads so they are designed for people not machines. Wouldn’t you like to be able to play football in the street?

Ideally we’d build schools near to where people live so children can walk and cycle to school easily.
