• Question: do animals in the country live longer than ones in the city

      I’m not sure if there have been any studies carried out on this but certainly within certain animal groups they are far more successful in the urban environment as although it may be more polluted there is often an abundance of waste food that doesn’t require any hunting skills!

      I don’t think we can animals live longer in the country – but yes, in the country they would likely have more room to live in. This doesn’t mean they would live longer, however.

      Animals in the city have easy access to food but it is junk food and as it is easy access they don’t get much exercise so I imagine countryside animals live longer

      Good question. You’ll need to decide which animal you’re wanting to know about…birds, cats, dogs, etc. I would imagine cats live longer in ‘the country’ as there are fewer cars to run them over.
