I did most of my research alone, but that doesn’t mean I produced all my work alone! I had my supervisors (people who guided me through my studies) to discuss my work with, and come up with new ideas. They helped to produce the project in the first place! Nowadays, I do still work alone but I am part of a wider team.

Hi, sometimes I work alone and at other times with colleagues. I am part of an aerosols sciences team which has 5 members and a PhD student but we are just one team in a larger environmental research group of about 40 scientists all working in air pollution and lung biology.

I spend a lot of my time working alone in my office, but all of my work as part of a team in some way. I work with colleagues on projects, and I work with students to support them in their own research.

I work as part of a team as well as on my own. A good mix of both.
