I work 5 days a week normally, sometimes for 8 hours but more often its 10. This isn’t all in the office and as a scientist you are often left thinking about the things that you are researching even when you are not really working.

I work five days a week, 7.5 hours a day (officially). Though sometimes I end up doing more! It depends upon the task at hand.

Depends on what I’m doing as my job can be so varied. Generally it’s Mon-Fri 9-5pm, but sometimes I need to be flexible with those hours.

So as the others standard working hours are usually a 5 day week, 7.5 hours a day.

However, as I have young children I currently work 3.5 days, 3 long days and one half day.

Work days vary from 7 to 12 hours. It depends if I have a lot ‘on’ or things are quiet. I think it’s normal to work 7-9 hours. I work most days, but weekends HOPEFULLY are more leisurely and for not as long.

I have flexibility over working hours as some days I need to visit places so it is a long day. Every hour I work, I have to record what I was doing which is the thing I hate most. I always seem to be doing it last thing on a Friday.
