Question: Is wildlife an interesting topic?

Definitely!! It’s a hobby and my job. I spend my week days doing research into wildlife and then my evenings and weekends looking at the wildlife in my garden and local town. At the moment there are lots of stag beetles about, and so I’ve been looking at those. My birds in my garden are nesting, and so there are loads of young birds to look at. My job means that I get to do some really cool research. One project I’m working on at the moment involves putting up camera traps on bird feeders and looking at how parakeets are using the feeders (parakeets are really pretty parrots that we have in the UK… they shouldn’t really be here, they should be living in Asia, but people introduced them here and they are doing very well). I get to watch videos of parakeets feeding, and I’m working out how much bird feed they are taking!!!
