One of the most amazing places I have been to is the Amazon rain forest in Brazil… it was fantastic to wake up super early and climb up a canopy tower to watch the howler monkeys waking up and calling to each other then go hunting for alligators!

What a hard question to answer! I ask myself, “What memory would I most miss if I no longer had it” and I come up with a flood of possible answers. It’s not remarkable for people living in the UK, but the first time I saw Edinburgh, I felt it was one of the most amazing cities I’d ever seen! I still think it’s pretty awesome.

In terms of cities, I really loved Singapore as it is so ordered and I could get everywhere easily. Furthermore there is lots of lovely food and beautiful sites. Outside of cities, I would say Iceland as it is stunningly beautiful but I fear too many people visiting and ruining it….

For me, it would be Malaysia. The country is beautiful, everywhere you go! And there is so much to do and see… and the food… mmmm

I have no doubts about this answer! Madagascar… one of the most interesting countries on Earth. It was cut off from mainland Africa so long ago that over 90% of its wildlife is found nowhere else! It is also one of the poorest countries in the world, and people live in real poverty. This means that they hunt lemurs and cut down the forests to feed their families, putting wildlife under real pressure. I loved taking students there though, as it really teaches them that conservation only works when you involve the local people.
