Global warming is an increase in the planets surface temperature, whilst climate change includes this warming but also all the other “side effects” of warming. This includes melting glaciers, heavier rainstorms, or more frequent droughts in other places. Global warming is really just one symptom or part of a much larger problem climate change caused by human activity.

Global warming is about the rising temperature in the atmosphere. Climate change is about changing weather conditions, including global warming itself.

Climate change is a complex mix of things changing about our world, while global warming is just referring to the temperature.
