I’ve always enjoyed doing stuff outdoors and find nature fascinating so I have always been concerned about the huge amount of damage that humans do to the environment. I studied geology and biology at ‘A’ level but moved to environmental geology when I went to university. I origianally thought that I would end up working in geochemistry safeguarding our water supplies but ended up safeguarding our atmosphere instead. There are lots of action groups that try to pressure governments and individual organisations to change but I am creating robust scientific evidence that can be presented to them to show what they are doing and then help to find new ways to reduce their impacts on air quality.
