Oh that is impossible to answer. There are so many important discoveries! Science is really far spanning, it is more than biology, chemistry and physics. We can break it down into other fields like cosmology (study of space), quantum physics (study of the very small), neuroscience (study of the brain), then each of these have subdisciplines. Each are making massive advancements and discoveries that are important to our everyday life. Some of them contribute to things like allowing for 5G connection, faster internet, developments in blood cancer research, and developments in understanding Alzheimer’s condition, and many more. Every one is as important as the last, in its own way. I could not place a single one above the other! And of course, this is subjective, meaning every person has their own view on what they find important. Of course, each scientist would say their own discovery is the most important! Only kidding, not all scientists would.
