From a scientific perspective, I’d love to see some of the big “open questions” (that is, questions that still remain unanswered) in science being answered. Here’s a list of some for Physics alone: http://math.ucr.edu/home/baez/physics/General/open_questions.html. I would say a personal favourite is, how big is the universe! On a personal level, I’d love to see an end to war and poverty. I’d love to see more children getting full opportunities to get educated around the world. I guess you can say, I just want the world to be a pleasant and better place for all.

I would like to see what I expect to be a total revolution in personalised medicine. It’s going to be super exciting to watch happen and hopefully enjoy!

I would like to see autonomous, electric vehicles be rolled out. You’d just use your app on your phone to call a car when you need it.

I’d like to see the government put the protection of our environment ahead of economic growth. Instead of allowing industry and agriculture to keep on polluting, building more roads and encouraging car use and relying on fossil fuels for energy they need to make bold decisions to prevent further damage to our air, soil and water resources. At the moment a lot of our environmental regulation has come from being part of Europe and this has really help us to become a cleaner country, as we move forward with the Brexit process I would like to see the UK aiming to be one of the cleanest countries in the world.
