  Not sure of a year, but if I were to guess based on current developments and technology, it could be as soon as 2030!

  We will have to perfect technology so we can be self sustaining. If you have seen the film The Martian you get an idea of the system required. Ideally the air could be recycled so we dont need to take oxygen and like the film, poo is used to grow food!

  I’m not sure that I would want to leave earth and live on the moon to be honest!
