      I think that Stephen Hawking is an amazing inspiration to all scientists – he really showed us that despite havingn physical barriers you can still use your mind to achieve brillliance…

      “Remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see and wonder about what makes the universe exist. Be curious. And however difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at. It matters that you don’t just give up.”

      When I was growing up, I was always looking for female role models. Someone who really inspired me was Dian Fossey. She studied mountain gorillas in Rwanda, and her work prevented this species from going extinct. She wrote an amazing book ‘Gorrilas in the Mist’ (which was later made into a film) and she was incredibly dedicated to her work.
