Question: why do you not work in a laboratory ?

I work in a university and we have many laboratories but I am measuring the chemistry of the air that we all breath and we need to understand how this changes from being next to a busy road, in a school or travelling on a train and in lots of other places so I use laboratory equipment but I have to take it out of the lab and into the ‘real world’ to make my measurements
